Employment, education & training
We help young people to access and sustain education, employment, and training (EET).
What we do
We work with young people to develop goals through one-to-one coaching and group work.
Our coaches use techniques from Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), designed specifically for young people. This model is called DNA-V, and it helps you identify and move towards what is important in your life. This supports wellbeing through personal development and growth.
Through our support, young people can develop core employability skills including confidence, problem solving, timekeeping, teamwork, communication, self-belief, and motivation.
Our work empowers young people to consider which options are best for them. This may include educational opportunities, training courses, jobs, work experience, apprenticeships, and volunteering. Our strong relationship with local employers also enables us to create meaningful and aspirational employment opportunities for young people.
We also provide support to access EET-related bursaries where available and appropriate.

Financial Capability
Financial stability is important for everyone, not least young people. Financial capability is essential for young people to live independently, maintain housing, access education and job opportunities, and reduce the stress and anxiety linked to money worries, improving their overall well-being.
What it looks like in practice
We help young people to develop their money management skills and confidence including opening a bank account, increasing their budgeting skills, or dealing with rent arrears and other debts.
Across all our services, including our Participation and Learning Team and Education, Employment and Training Coaches our support workers work closely with every young person to ensure they have the tools and opportunities to develop their financial confidence and skills.
